Accounts and Acceptable Use

Use Oyster List lawfully and do not interfere with the site, APIs, email flows, or payment systems.

Keep your login email account secure. Magic-link access to your Oyster List account is your responsibility.

Do not scrape, mirror, resell, sublicense, or republish paid reports, downloads, or gated content beyond the license attached to your plan.

Do not bypass rate limits, paywalls, team seat limits, or any technical safeguards.

If you manage a team workspace, you are responsible for invitations, seat assignments, and internal distribution within that workspace.

Do not use Oyster List in violation of sanctions, export controls, or other applicable legal restrictions.

Billing, Fulfillment, Refunds, and Cancellations

Recurring subscriptions renew on the billing cycle selected at checkout until canceled from billing settings or by contacting Oyster List before renewal.

Digital subscriptions activate after successful payment. One-time reports and downloads are delivered through your account or email after generation completes.

Because Oyster List products are digital, there is no physical shipping and no physical return workflow.

One-time purchases, delivered reports, and top-up credits are generally non-refundable once delivered, except for duplicate charges, technical failure, or where mandatory law requires otherwise.

We may suspend paid features for prolonged non-payment, chargeback risk, abuse, or security incidents.

Payment Security

Checkout and billing-management flows are provided through Stripe-hosted pages over HTTPS.

Oyster List does not store full payment card numbers or CVC values. Stripe processes card data and returns limited billing metadata needed for subscriptions, invoices, and support.

Use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe policies, including the Stripe Privacy Policy.

More about Stripe's handling of personal data is available in Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Reports, Downloads, and License Scope

Oyster List software, page layouts, reports, downloads, and compiled datasets are protected by intellectual property law.

Personal and Pro plans are for the purchasing user or their internal evaluation work. Team and Enterprise use is limited to the licensed organization and seat count.

You may not publicly post, redistribute, or sell Oyster List reports or downloads without written permission.

Underlying third-party public data sources may remain subject to their own attribution or reuse terms.

Data and Warranty Disclaimers

Oyster List provides research tools and comparative data, not legal, tax, immigration, investment, accounting, or other professional advice.

Public-source data can lag, be revised, or contain errors. You are responsible for validating high-stakes decisions independently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oyster List is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service.

Suspension, Changes, and Governing Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will apply prospectively once posted on this page.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, misuse, fraud, security risk, or non-payment.

If you use Oyster List under a signed enterprise order form or separate written agreement, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these public terms.

Unless mandatory law says otherwise, these terms are governed by Norwegian law.

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page or to [email protected].
