Located on slightly higher ground at the edge of the village, Barrio Alto offers tranquil lanes, traditional homes, and sweeping views of surrounding fields. It's more residential and quieter.

Following a stretch of the old royal road just outside the main core, this area has a few guesthouses and traditional homes and is popular with those walking nearby routes.

The small center of Villamayor de los Montes is the heart of village life, with its main plaza, parish church, and the few local shops and bars. It's the focal point for social gatherings and village festivities.
